Who are we?
7 Projects is an international art & culture consultancy. We assist in creating multi-sensory experiences within spaces; blending and then fusing the boundaries between art and its surroundings. We offer informed and proven services in the curating and collaborating of exhibitions, and the sourcing, collecting and sales of artworks.
We believe that cultural engagement through art will forever have the potential to shift perspectives and bridge differences. Art is the true form of communication. Art transcends language, religion, gender, economics and geography; leaving no soul untouched and allowing all to be heard.
Through our passion for multi-sensory art in the digital domain, we deliver experiences that are unique, transformative and most importantly accessible. We don’t want to create art that will be seen, we wish to create what can be truly felt.
Why 7?
7 is understood as a symbol of completeness and perfection. It is a sacred number carrying significance across all cultures. In our efforts to understand one another and to connect and engage culturally, numbers carry a meaning that needs no translation. To us 7 is that unifier that embodies locally and globally all that we resonate with. Across the seven continents, the seven wonders of the world and deep into the seven seas; the number 7 is the world that we live in, the heights that we wish to attain and the marvels that we create.
What inspired our logo?
We paid homage to Leonardo da Vinci’s drawing “The Vitruvian Man” based on the correlations of ideal human proportions with geometry as described by the ancient Roman architect Vitruvius. Vitruvius described the human figure as being the principal source of proportion among the classical orders of architecture. Akin to the number 7, the drawing represents a true form and one that speaks of equality and purity.
